Such a SLACKER!!

So lots has happened in the last 3 MONTHS!!!! My goodness I am a slacker! Well Addison is in Kindergarten and thinks she is pretty much the coolest thing EVER :) Her favorite thing about school is recess... (of course)... where she chases the boys or plays vampires?! (hopefully that is just a phase :) ) She has made lots of new friends! I still can't believe I have a 5 yr old... its crazy!! Paige is getting so big! She is 5 months old and is in 12 months clothes!! Crazy!! She is 94% in weight and 90% in height! She is so happy and just giggles and talks :) She sleeps 10-12 hours EVERY NIGHT! And yes I deserve this since my cute little 5 year old STILL wakes up every night!!!!! :) So life is good... I have the cutest girls ever and i couldn't ask for anything more :)

We went to get pictures taken the other day. Paige cried the ENTIRE time. So it is amazing that we got a few good ones. Addison was her usual model self :) We went to Fotofly and they did an awesome job and were so patient with the screaming baby. :) Hopefully next time will be a little better and we will get a few smiles out of Paige :)

It was Paige's blessing today, and it was an amazing, sweet day! It was so nice to have both of our families there together for this special day. Jared did an amazing job, and I am so grateful for him and our 2 adorable girls. I am one lucky girl :)

I can't believe that June is almost over. It went WAY too fast. Paige is a month old and is so dang cute I can't even handle it :) Addi is growing up so fast and the best big sister anyone could ask for. We have been pretty boring this month, but we are starting to get back to normal life and enjoying summer!

Aunt Tiffany just came into town, we have not seen her for 2 yrs!! And the girls are having so much fun... This is a pic of the girls who want to be ROCK STARS (that is what Addison says at least) We wish they lived closer.

And a picture of Paige... don't you just want to squish those cheeks?! :) So bummed I have to go back to work next week. 6 wks goes by way to quickly! I just love hangin out with my girls all day!! :)

So my beautiful and talented cousin was The Fairy Godmother in Bountiful High's Cinderella. She did an AMAZING job!!! It was the cutest thing, they had a party for the little girls to come to and be princesses. They learned to dance, got their picture taken with Cinderella and Prince Charming, and learned that only YOU can make your dreams come true :) It was ADORABLE! Addison and Shae felt so special. How lucky were they to be Princesses for a day! It was an awesome day. And I must say I am so proud of my cousin Tiffany... she is definately going places :)

Well I am not "on top" of things like most of you amazing moms out there... I did take Christmas pics... just not in time to send out cards! It was so cold that day I was worried they were not going to turn out... but I am in love with them! :) We had these taken for Jared's mom for Christmas... One of my very best friends in the whole world... Jennifer Chunat... just had her baby! Addison has been SO excited to play with her new friend and apparently she is her cousin...lol. She is adorable! Addison LOVES her and it has been great practice for her since she will be a BIG SISTER IN JUNE!!!! Thats right folks... Addison FINALLY gets to be a big sister. We are soo excited! 14 weeks along and going strong :) She is going to be the best big sister ever and Jen is so nice to let her practice being one to Marley!! They are for sure going to be BFFS!

So i have started wondering lately where my little girl went!! All of a sudden Addison seems so big. It is kinda sad...I asked her if she could please stop growing and she told me no... how rude is that?! She was in her first Primary program... she was so excited to talk in the microphone. we practiced her part (Heavenly Father Sent us to Earth) over and over again. As we were practicing she asked me if everyone got to stand at the microphone to sing. I told her no, everyone just stands up to sing. I saw a little twinkle in her eye and she said... "mom I have an idea... maybe i can stand and sing at the microphone and everyone else can just stand!" hahaha!!! I warned her that probably wasn't a possibility :) Although she was so excited to talk (or sing) in the microphone... she said nothing when it was time for her part. She later told me there were just too many people. Maybe if she was going up to sing... and had 100 back up singers she wouldn't have been so scared :) Love this girl!!!

For my Grandpa...

Three months after my sweet Grandma died, My wonderful, adorable Grandpa joined her. I knew that this was coming, in fact he has been so sick the past couple years that we have been expecting him to go at any time. although it is a pure blessing that he is out of pain and even more that he is with my grandma again... i will miss him desperately!! He was just one of those sweet grandpas that adopted grandkids wherever he went. He knew my friends, and asked about them. He even was out there lookin for a husband for some of them :) He had the kindest heart. He ALWAYS made me feel so special, if I was having a bad day... i knew I could call my grandma and grandpa and they would help me feel better. No matter what i knew he loved me... and would do anything in the world for me and for me to be happy. He got really close to Addison the past couple months... he LOVED her and she LOVED him. They would just tease eachother all the time. He is the one that introduced snowmobiling to our family... LOVE it! i have so many memories of going up to Diamond Field Jack to jump on the sleds... if we were lucky we got to ride with him and we would sing all the way up the canyon... my favorites were You are my sunshine and Skeeters and the Bedbugs... lol... we would sing those songs over and over! My Grandpa taught me so much... he even taught me how to Waltz... how cute is that?! He was such an amazing example of service; He was always serving his family, friends, even strangers. I am so gratefeul that I had him in my life... I am so grateful and honored to be able to call him my Grandpa!!!! So... Grandpa... I love you so much... I will miss you more than words can express... I will miss our talks even our political ones (even though I don't know much about that stuff... it was always so fun to listen to you go off about it :) ) I will miss your hugs and your amazing stories... I am so happy to know you are with grandma... probably dancing :) Give her a big hug for me...I know you both will be lookin out for all us. You will forever be in my heart... and I will forever be your Kimmy Kae! Love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My sweet Grandma Idaho (Perkins) passed away yesterday. I just feel like I need to do a tribute to her. She was seriously amazing. I can still hear her say... Now Kim I do not like you talking on the phone while you are driving... lol. I heard that ALOT!!! We used to talk on the phone all the time (usually when I was driving :) ) I would tell her everything... and she always was so excited for me to call and hear my stories. i would get lectures every now and then... I loved them. She was just so sweet. She loved Addison and would always ask... how's our baby boots doin? (Baby boots?!?! LOL) She always loved hearing stories about Addison and then would tell the rest of the family. Growing up I used to love to go spend a week up in Idaho with her. She would make matching outfits for my cousin and me. She was just always so happy. We used to go up to idaho to surprise them... we would leave just in time so we would get there right before their church got out so we could surprise them when they came home. You could tell by talking to her, or even watching her, that she loved the gospel. I always knew she had a testimony and she was always so willing to serve in the church, and loved all the callings she had. I look up to her so much. She loved her family and always put them first. I am so lucky to have a grandma like her... (in fact... both of my grandmas were amazing women. You actually should all be jealous of how great my grandmas were. :) ) I always knew she was just a phone call away. So to my grandma... I will miss you so much, I will miss our talks, I will miss your hugs and your laugh. Please watch over me, give my Grandma Butterfield and Grandma Rose a big hug for me, I know you are in a better place and I know that I will get to see and talk to you again. I love you so much and am so glad you are my grandma. Thanks for every thing you have done for me... Love you... Bubbles (yes I know its a weird nick name but thats what she called me :) )

Snowmobiling time is here!!! YAY!!! We took our annual trip to Diamond Field Jack... loved it. This time I got to take my fabulous friend, Jen Riches, with us and we had an amazing time. My beautiful Grandma and Grandpa Perkins, whom I might add founded this family tradition, was able to come up and take some pics with us. Jen and I had a blast... Addison LOVES her. Its been way too long. And how could we be friends for so long and she had never been snowmobiling!! It was a perfect day!!! Nothin better than family and friends getting together for some great time in the snow!! :)

Jared decided to take us to the BYU vs Utah game in Provo last night. Addison has been asking to go to a Jazz game... this was the next best thing :) (Addison called it the WE-BY-U Jazz game). We had a lot of fun. The Cougars played awesome... and there was even some excitment. Loved the Pink shoes... I think they should keep them!! I must say that basketball is way more up my alley than football. Maybe cause its only 2 hours and its inside :) Addison is a born cheer leader. Her and jared sing the cougar fight song almost everyday. She was standing on Jared's shoulders singing it. It was so fun!! When we came out of the stadium.... after the awesome win... it was snowing- which made Addison even more excited!! It was a great family night!!!!

This is how my grumpy girl started the game... I was a little worried... but she got pretty excited when she got to start cheering. I totally have a drama queen on my hands!!

Christmas '09

We had such a great Christmas this year... hope you all did too. It is always so wonderful to spend time with family. Extra fun for us this year since Jared's brother is on his mission we got to talk to him on the phone which Addison loved. Everything Addison opened she said... oh wow I always wanted this... even if she had never seen it before. She got a pink screwdriver (this is what she asked Santa for) from Heather, well an entire pink tool set including a pink hammer and level. Right after she opened it she took it right down stairs and started building a door frame (cause what else would a 3 year old girl build? I mean really?? lol) She also got a kareoke machine... she has not stopped singing. And a lot of other pink things... lol!! She was so much fun this year... and was totally spoiled. But every cute little girl deserves to be spoiled sometimes... right?! :) Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night :) The cake for Santa, Ms Claus and the Reindeer... who knew they loved Strawberry cake to much??

Butterfield Christmas Party 2009!!

We had our Butterfield Christmas party last night. It was a hit... Santa and Ms. Claus came and they were just adorable and made the party. Are they not the cutest Santa and Ms Claus you have ever seen?? They told the kids they needed a helper that was very strong.... Addison flexed her muscles and she got to go up and jingle Santa's bells while we sang jingle bells. Hunter got to help be Rudolph. He was a good sport. When Addison sat on Santa's lap she told him she wanted a pink screwdriver (i know weird right?!) and a kareoke machine... lets hope she was a good girl!! :) Merry Christmas everyone. So some of you have already heard this... but I just have to tell ya!! Ever since my brother had his baby and Jared's sister had hers Addison has been walking around telling people of her brother and sister up in heaven that are waiting to come down. First it started as just a brother... then it turned into a brother and sister. She will tell anyone. It is sometimes embarrassing. Anyway she just gets so excited. She will even tell me how much she misses them and how much they miss her (I know sad huh?!)Well a couple weeks ago she informed me that we needed to get another crib because the brother and sister were coming down together. Ahhhhh... right?! I mean I know she is only 3 but still. But again it has changed... a couple nights ago she told me that we no longer have a brother... only a sister cause the brother had to go to another family. (Jesus called him and told him he had to go to another family...lol) And just now she told me that her sister already went down the slide from heaven and is in my tummy. LOL! (and no I am not announcing... no baby here!!! :) ) And yes that is how babies get in their mommies tummies... they go down a big slide. haha! I just love her imagination.... she is crazy and I just love her to pieces... my life would be so boring with out her!!!! and even if it isn't her imagination and some sort of inspiration.... be are gonna believe she is making it up :)

Disney Princesses on Ice...

Today I was lucky enough to go to Disney on Ice Classic Princess with the most special, beautiful Princesses.... Addison, Shae and Emma. It was seriously the best day I have had in a long time. Is it just me or is something just magical about the disney stories? I have never seen addison so entertained. When the gate opened up so you could see the Castle Addison stared in amazement. It was an awesome experience... Thanks mom for taking us. Addison did fall asleep for the ending... poor little girl was exhausted. After that we took to princesses to The Garden for lunch. They were to excited to see the Temple. I am so glad i have these special princesses in my life!!! (one of my other favorite princesses, Sloane, was there too but my pics didn't turn out. So more pics to come...)

So... last night Addison woke up at like midnight with a bad dream... she was then awake until 4. Please tell me she is not the only one to do this. We struggle with sleeping. Anyway Jared is out of town so i just let her come to bed with me and turned on Noggin... i was in and out of sleeping... bad idea... i woke up to this. I was freaking out. Since she was up literally all night i didn't even have time to give her a bath before work... so my fabulous aunt who watches addison on Mondays helped scrub her down. i got a text from her a few hours later saying that she got the first layer off!! Kill me now!!!! lol... the bath water was purple there was so much pen on her. I think we have it mostly off now... after i let her soak in the tub for almost a half hour and then major scrubbing. But now i must admit it is pretty funny... now that it is off!!! Love that she keeps me on my toes... wouldn't have it any other way!!!

Seriously?! Can my little girl be old enough for pre-school??? She was so excited she had to call all these people in the morning to tell them she was going to pre school today. And she kept telling me... mom you can't come with me. This I have heard for the last 3 months... lol. When i pulled into the driveway she unbuckled and said... k mom bye. I had to convince her that i needed to come with her. She had so much fun. Miss LaDawn made bags for all of them and they even had homework... she says although i am not quite sure what it is. It is so fun to start this new exciting time of her life!!! She is getting so big!

Also... I have been telling Jen I would put pics up of her room... it is still not totally done... but close. My FABULOUS neighbor helped me with all this. She is just pretty amazing :). It was so much fun and so happy to finally have her room basically put together!!!

I don't think I have ever done this many posts so close together.... sorry y'all!!! We did a little photo shoot with the Selman cousins... how cute are they?? It was definately a trick with a 3 yr old, 2yr old, 1 yr old and a 2 month old. lol... this firsst pic is about how crazy it got. I think we were all sweating (or at least I was) from all the running and jumping to try and get the girls to smile. We got some cute ones tho!!! (We had them taken at Sears... it was the best photo shoot that we have ever had when taking them to a place to get them done... highly recommend it!! :) )

So Jared's sister Tiffany is in town... we love it when they come. It is so much fun and Addison loves to see her cousins (or sisters as she calls them). Yesterday the girls... including addison and jane went and got pedicures.... FABULOUS!!! And today we all took a trip to the Zoo. The girls had a blast. We sure wish that Tiffany lived closer but the visits are so much fun!!!

Memorial Day Camping!!!

Every year Jared's friends from high school get together to go camping over Memorial Day... the past few years we haven't gone but we finally went again this year. Addison was SO excited. It rained the WHOLE time. It was seriously a muddy mess. All the moms and kids went to Gunnison to go swimming and get cleaned up a little bit. The guys all went four wheeling/ dirt biking. I have never seen so much mud on one person....

MUDDY right?! And yes Jared and Marshall are holding hands... should i be worried?!? ha ha

I venture to say that we have the best neighbors ever!!! Sloane and Addison have so much fun together. They came over the other day and had so much fun playing dress up, dancing and jumping. Every year my family goes up to Diamond Field Jack up in Idaho to go snowmobiling. We have done this as long as I can remember. It was so fun to take Addison. She had such a fun time... she didn't want to get off. It was a tad chilly but what would snowmobiling be with out a little cold right?! We loved it!!! And handling the cold was well worth it!!

So obviously i have not updated in a while... so here we go are you all ready?! First off like most 2 yr olds i am sure... Addison loves to hide. Everytime she hears the garage door opens she runs and hides from whoever is coming home. this is her new favorite spot... and Jared could not find her!!! ha ha isn't she just so tricky!! :)

Santa took Addison's diapers back to the North Pole with him since she is a big girl now... can we say FABULOUS!!!! Thanks to Heather and Teryl that she is not bored on the potty i guess!!

We had a great Christmas. Addison was so excited to get the pink kitchen she has been wanting. It was so fun to get together with family. Although it is a month late... because i am the biggest slacker ever.... We hope everyone had a great Christmas!! (Please don't mind the morning hair in these pics!! :) )

So last weekend my family all went to Colorado for the Airforce game. It was a LONG drive but it was really fun. Addison loved and cheered almost the whole time (when she wasn't taking a nap :) ) Addison loves being a cheerleader so she was excited to take her picture with one... however Cosmo she would have nothing to do with. And good thing we won after our 9 hr drive!!! So good luck to BYU on Saturday!!!

We just got back from our first big family vacation. We went to Disneyland and on a cruise... so much fun!!! So here are a lot of pictures. We had such a great time... especially in Disneyland! Addison loved the teacups and playhouse disney probably the best... and is fascinated with Tinkerbell. For the cruise we went to Catalina Island and Mexico (or Mekiso as Addison calls it) It was a lot of fun. While we were in California we went and saw Aunt Ellen and Cousin Claire (and the rest of their family too :) ) Addison and Hailey became very good friends really quick... hopefully they will get to see each other again soon. Oh and here are some pics from Halloween... Addison was a pixie.

So it was the first BYU game and the first game Addison went to. She was actually very good and had a lot of fun. There was a lot of passing up and down the row... but it was a good game and we WON!!!!!

The Bee's Game

Last night we went to the Bee's game. My nephew Hunter got to run on the field with the players. The firework show at the end of the game was awesome. Addison loved it.

This year for the 24th we went over to our neighbors house to do fireworks. It was so fun and all the kids had a great time. Thanks Candace and Brandon!!

So Jared found this really fun water park by our house and Addison loved it. She kept trying to drink the water. Anyway it is just so fun so if anyone wants to go Addison would love to go with some friends!!

So I finally have a week off work... fabulous!!! Addison and I are having so much fun. Today we spent all afternoon outside with all the neighbor kids. We are so lucky to have such great neighbors.

I am so excited!!!! Addison has been going potty on the big girl potty since Sunday. Is that not the most exciting thing ever! We are not completely potty trained yet but we are getting there! If I don't have to buy another box of diapers I will be so excited!!!

Jared was working in Washington DC for 2 months but lucky for us we got to go visit and see Cousin Jane for the first time in 6 months. As you can see Addison was very excited to see her.
